TASMANIA’S LEADING DENTAL IMPLANT AND ALL ON 4 IMPLANT CLINIC

Beautiful Smiles Founded on Precision and Expertise

When you lose your teeth, it can greatly affect your oral health, appearance and well-being. The fact is that even one missing tooth can be easily noticed when you speak, eat, or smile. What’s more, the gap can eventually alter your jaw and facial structure, further impacting the way you look and your self-esteem. Fortunately, dental implants offer a permanent solution to these problems. By replacing the missing tooth’s root structure, you can create a strong foundation for prosthetic teeth that will restore your natural smile and help you regain your confidence. With dental implants, you can prevent the negative effects of missing teeth and enjoy a healthier, happier life.

Why Choose Dental Implants?

If you have missing or damaged teeth, the type of tooth replacement you choose can greatly impact your appearance and overall well-being. While removable dentures can somewhat solve the problem, they can be uncomfortable and embarrassing and don’t provide the same biting force as natural teeth. So, while you may look more like yourself, you may still have difficulty eating and speaking like before.

Dental implants, on the other hand, are unique in that they replace not only the tooth but also the missing root. By bonding with the jawbone, the artificial root, a titanium screw, acts as a strong foundation for prosthetic teeth; your replacement teeth are fixed firmly in place. What’s more, replacing the root stimulates jawbone growth and supports your facial structure and remaining teeth. The result is that your teeth look and function like new and you can restore your smile to its former beauty.

The Innovative All on 4 Dental Implant Treatment

Full arch dental implants are similar to traditional implants, replacing the root structure of missing teeth. However, the All on 4 implant procedure is a new twist on the same concept, positioning the implants at a carefully designed angle to avoid bone-deficient areas and to deliver maximum torque. The result is that only four implants are needed to replace a full arch of teeth instead of eight or more.

With the 4 implants in one arch technique, replacement teeth can be placed in a matter of days rather than months. What’s more, the procedure is less invasive and requires fewer preliminary steps, making it suitable for more complex cases.

Are You a Candidate for Dental Implants?

In theory, anyone is a potential candidate for dental implants. However, there are certain factors that need to be accounted for, including your oral health, any medical conditions you may have and your lifestyle choices. What’s more, it’s important for patients to have realistic expectations and be committed to maintaining good oral hygiene habits to ensure the long-term success of their treatment.

Ultimately, the best way to determine if you are a good candidate for dental implants or All on 4 is to consult with a qualified implant dentist. They can evaluate your oral health and help you understand the pros and cons of the procedures.

In the meantime, why not take our implant suitability quiz to give you an idea of whether the dental implant treatment could work for you?

The Top Three Traits of an Excellent Implant Dentist

With so many dentists offering implant treatments, selecting the right one can be a daunting task. It may seem like all dentists who offer implant treatments are the same, but this is far from the truth. Some dentists choose to specialise in implantology, dedicating their entire careers to mastering the field and continually improving their knowledge and skills. This is why it’s crucial to understand what to look for in an implant dentist and not base your decision solely on cost. To ensure that you receive the highest quality treatment and the best possible outcome, you should consider the following three critical factors:

Training

It's crucial to choose a dentist who has undergone extensive postgraduate education, is passionate about implantology, and has made dental implants the focus of their career. This demonstrates that the dentist has received the comprehensive clinical, theoretical, and practical training necessary to provide you with outstanding treatment.

Experience

It's important to choose a dentist who has a great deal of experience with dental implants, as this ensures that they have encountered a wide range of cases. By selecting a dentist who performs dental implant surgery on a daily basis, you can have confidence that your treatment will be safe and successful, regardless of the complexity of your case.

Materials

To achieve the best outcome for your implant treatment, it’s crucial to use the right materials and tools. Your implants should adhere to safety regulations and be made of high-quality materials. By verifying this information beforehand, you can prevent complications arising from substandard materials and ensure the longevity of your results.

Meet Our Expert Dental Implant and All on 4 Dentist

Dr Bing grew up and graduated in Singapore before embarking on a dental degree in Australia. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 2013, quickly joined a local practice and started gaining broad experience doing everything from extractions to root canals. This practice was one of the earliest adopters of CEREC technology. Although new at the time, the technology opened his eyes to future possibilities. Dr Bing focused his attention on expanding his knowledge and skills utilising this new technology, taking advantage of any continuing education courses that were available.

Dr Bing understood the importance of getting the foundational knowledge in place and then worked hard to build upon that. Speaking to experts in the industry helped to shape the way he did things and he took several modular courses on implant dentistry. Far from the short courses that were available by this time, he dedicated a lot of time to ensure he learnt the most advanced skills and techniques from the very best in the industry.

While Dr Bing still practises a wide range of procedures, he has a passion for surgical and reconstructive dentistry with a particular emphasis on utilising innovative digital technologies to provide superior outcomes for patients.

Although he has travelled and trained extensively, both locally and overseas with well-renowned implant specialists, Dr Bing ensures he continues to keep up to date with the latest in materials and techniques.

  • Permanent – unlike other solutions, such as dentures, which can become loose and uncomfortable, dental implants remain securely in place for a lifetime.
  • Natural-Looking – dental implants are designed to look and feel like your natural teeth and restore your ability to eat, talk, and smile with confidence.
  • Cost-Effective – investing in a permanent solution means you can avoid the costs of replacements and repairs.
  • Healthy – by replacing the root structure of your teeth, dental implants promote jawbone growth, support your teeth, and restore your facial features.

By entrusting your smile to us, you’re investing in the tools, techniques and expertise you need to drastically improve your quality of life.
